Geron Corporation to Present at Bank of America Health Care Conference
MENLO PARK, Calif., May 12, 2008 – Geron Corporation (Nasdaq: GERN) today announced that David L. Greenwood., executive vice president and chief financial officer, will present an update of the company’ s product development programs at 2:00 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, May 13, 2008, at the Bank of America 2008 Health Care Conference in Las Vegas.
The update of Geron’ s portfolio of telomerase-based anti-cancer therapies will include the inhibitor drug, GRN163L, and the therapeutic vaccine, GRNVAC1. Additionally, the presentation will include reviews of the company’ s human embryonic stem cell development programs for spinal cord injury (GRNOPC1), heart disease (GRNCM1) and diabetes (GRNIC1).
