Geron Corporation to Present at 7TH Annual Bio Investor Forum
MENLO PARK, Calif., October 29, 2008 - Geron Corporation (Nasdaq: GERN) today announced that Thomas B. Okarma, Ph.D., M.D., president and chief executive officer, will present an update of the company's product development programs at 9:00 a.m. PDT on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at the 7th Annual BIO Investor Forum in San Francisco.
The update will include information about Geron's portfolio of anti-cancer therapies, including its telomerase inhibitor drug (GRN163L) and its telomerase therapeutic vaccine (GRNVAC1). The presentation will also include a review of the company's human embryonic stem cell (hESC) development programs for spinal cord injury (GRNOPC1), heart disease (GRNCM1) and diabetes (GRNIC1).
